Stoneybrook is a mixed residence community located in beautiful Estero, Florida. Just minutes from I-75, the neighborhood is gated for security. Pinewood Elementary School is within walking distance, with a special entrance for neighborhood parents and students. The Fort Myers Regional Airport is located nearby as well as plenty of shopping and dining venues.
This peaceful community is nestled around one of the longest golf courses in the area and it includes single family homes, attached villas and low-rise condominiums. There are no golf course fees since the course is separate from the Stoneybrook development. The course is beginner friendly and open to the public, with a ‘pay as you play’ system.
Families, retirees or anyone with an active lifestyle will find plenty to do here. There are tennis and basketball courts, soccer and baseball fields and an outdoor inline skating rink. There is even a bocce ball court, a stocked lake and a fishing pier. Barefoot Preserve Beach and Fort Myers Beach on the beautiful Gulf Coast are both a half hour’s drive away.
One of the finest amenities is the clubhouse, which includes a fitness center and large pool with hot tub and showers. This community center also includes a library and free Wi-Fi access. Nearby is a modern playground with state of the art equipment for the young residents of the neighborhood. All of these benefits reside in a setting of beautifully landscaped grounds and manmade lakes.
Stoneybrook is designed with dead end cul-de-sac streets bisected by Golf Drive and Golf Boulevard, which are perpendicular to each other. There is easy access to major roads for visiting nearby outlet shopping, grocery stores and the many community parks in the area. Florida Gulf Coast University is also nearby.
Homes range in size from two bedroom condos and attached villas to four bedroom single family homes with over 2,500 square feet of living space. These custom homes have upgrades such as granite counter tops, ceiling fans and Berber carpets.
Deluxe lighting fixtures and appliances, eat-in kitchens and cathedral ceilings are some of the special touches to be found in these lovely homes. Many of the residences have a lake view and all have access to a great deal of green space.
Nearby Fort Myers has been rated as one of the best places in the country to live by Sperling. This is partly due to the low unemployment rate and low cost of living in the area. The climate is mild, with more than the average rainfall for U.S. cities. Annual temperatures range from the high eighties in the summer to lows in the mid-fifties during the winter.
The climate in Estero is only one of the benefits of living in this lovely and active community. Residents don’t even have to leave home to participate in sports and enjoy nature. Farther afield, there are beaches and nature preserves and the cosmopolitan city of Fort Myers. Whether you’re looking for a place to raise a family or seeking a place to enjoy a well-deserved retirement, it’s a pretty good bet that you should start looking right here!
